The Cambodian Genocide Reconciliation Project at the University of British Columbia is a student led documentation of the horrific stories of Cambodian Genocide survivors living in and around Vancouver, Canada. Testimony is gathered from survivors in documented in digital format.

Testimony will be used:

  1. As a historical resource for academics, professionals and human rights advocates.
  2. As potential evidence for use in a future Khmer Rouge Genocide Tribunal in Cambodia.

The CGG Vancouver Reconciliation Project is currently being undertaken by teams of dedicated University undergraduate and graduate students at the University of British Columbia. The project seeks to preserve the memories of the past while reconciling the horror of the genocide.
