I am entering my fourth year of studies in Political Science and Economics. I
have an interest in International Development, with a focus on human rights.
I have campaigned extensively on behalf of such causes as landmines, poverty and
HIV/AIDS. I have conducted research on the socio-economic impacts of
landmines and the difficulties of post-war reconstruction in Bosnia and Croatia, and
travel this summer to West Africa to study the impacts of HIV/AIDS on society
there. Upon my return, I will launch an outreach education campaign to raise
awareness on the issue leading up to the 2006 World AIDS Conference to be
hosted by Toronto. I love music, traveling, reading and writing.
