The Cambodian Genocide Reconciliation Project is a student led documentation of the horrific stories of Cambodian Genocide survivors in and around New York City. Testimony is gathered from survivors documented in digital format.
Testimony will be used:
- As a historical resource for academics, professionals and human rights advocates.
- As potential evidence for use in a future Khmer Rouge Genocide Tribunal in Cambodia.
The CGG Reconciliation Project is currently being undertaken by teams of dedicated University undergraduate and graduate students at Columbia University. The project seeks to preserve the memories of the past while reconciling the horror of the genocide.
